Austrian Army 1990s Olive Drab Lightweight Ripstop Jacket
AA1990ODLRJ
The Austrian Army olive drab lightweight ripstop jacket is a 1990s pattern still on issue with the Bundesheer, this example dated 2010.
It features a button closure, two zipper chest pockets and a zipper sleeve pocket, adjustable Velcro cuffs, oversized buttons and Velcro strips left bare for name tapes and patches, all cut in a soft polyester and viscose blend that hangs light. A plain working jacket in classic olive drab, and one of the easier Austrian pieces to come by since it is still being made.
Measured flat, it runs 45" along the chest and fits a regular medium figure — the label calls it 96 to 100cm — with sleeve lengths of 24" and a collar to hem of 28 inches.
