The East German Army NVA jacket is a 1960s pattern made from the 1970s through to the 1990s, and it carries the Strichmuster — the raindrop camouflage, and the most recognisable print the Eastern Bloc produced.

It features two slit hip pockets, two button sleeve pockets and two chest pockets, a hidden button closure and button adjustable cuffs, cut in cotton. It can take a hood, which is not included. Warsaw Pact kit of the plainest kind, and the pattern is the whole reason anyone wants one.

Measured flat, it runs 41" along the chest and fits a regular medium figure — the label reads "sk 44" — with sleeve lengths of 22" and a collar to hem of 28 inches.
