Iraqi Army 1980s Desert DPM Camouflage Combat Jacket
IQA1980DDCCJ
The Iraqi Army combat jacket was issued from the late 1980s to 1990, which places it either side of the invasion of Kuwait.
It features a button and zipper closure, two chest button pockets, a pen pocket and a sleeve pocket, adjustable button cuffs and shoulder epaulettes, cut light in soft cotton. The camouflage is Iraq's own reading of Desert DPM — the same brushstroke idea as the British print but earthier, browner, a different desert entirely.
Measured flat, it runs 22" pit to pit and fits a slim medium figure — the label suggests around 96cm and a height of 170cm — with sleeve lengths of 22.5" and a collar to hem of 27 inches.
