Norwegian Army 1950s M51 Thermal Liner Parka

The Norwegian Army M51 thermal liner is a 1950s pattern, this example dated 1974.
It features a button closure and armpit vents, cut with a 100% wool lining in grey with olive green edging. Made to button inside the M51 parka, though it is good enough to wear as it is — which is what most people do with it.
Measured flat, it runs 25.5" pit to pit and fits a regular large figure — the label reads "M" — with sleeve lengths of 24" and a collar to hem of 38 inches.
