Swiss Army 1980s TAZ83 Alpenflage Camouflage Field Shirt
CHA1980TAZ83ACFS
The Swiss Army TAZ 83 field shirt was issued from 1986, and it carries the Alpenflage — the loudest camouflage any army has ever put its soldiers in.
It features a zipper closure, two stud button chest pockets and a sleeve pocket, zipper cuffs, reinforced elbow pads, shoulder epaulettes and belt loops, cut in a quality cotton polyester blend. Everything about the construction is careful, which is very Swiss, and none of it distracts from the pattern.
Measured flat, it runs 22.5" pit to pit and fits a regular medium figure — the label reads "48", about a British 38" chest — with sleeve lengths of 24.5" and a collar to hem of 28 inches.
