Soviet Navy 1970s Yellow Dress Shirt

The Soviet Navy dress shirt is a 1970s pattern, this example issued 1986.
It features a button closure, two chest pockets, an adjustable button waist and button cuffs, cut in cotton in a solid yellow you would not expect from the Red Fleet. This one belonged to a "michman" — a warrant officer — and the rank boards are still on the shoulders.
Measured flat, it runs 41" along the chest and fits a regular medium figure — the label states "48" — with sleeve lengths of 24" and a collar to hem of 25.5 inches.
