German Army 2010s Tropentarn Camouflage Field Shirt
GA2010TCFS
The German Army Tropentarn field shirt was issued through the 2000s and 2010s, this one dated 2010, in a soft cotton and polyester blend.
It features two popper button chest pockets and a sleeve pocket, a zip and popper button closure, adjustable Velcro cuffs, mesh panels under the arms, shoulder epaulettes, a Velcro identification strip and German flag patches. Tropentarn is the arid version of Flecktarn — the same broken spot print worked in tan, brown and green instead of the woodland greens — cut for Afghanistan and the Horn of Africa, and it is the scarcer of the two by a long way.
Measured flat, it runs 22.5" from pit to pit and fits a regular medium figure — the label reads GrNr 2 — with a sleeve length of 23.5" and a collar to hem of 27 inches.
