French Air Force 1990s Combat Flight Jacket

An Armée de l'Air flight jacket in dark olive-grey leather, built for cockpit and flight line wear in cold weather.

Full length two-way front zip, two flapped lower pockets closed on steel press studs, and a deep shearling collar in dark brown that stands up against the wind. Raglan sleeves, each finished with a zipped cuff gusset so the sleeve opens out over a glove. A white rectangular name panel is stitched above the left chest and a leather unit tab above the right. The leather has gone matte and chalky across the shoulders and front panel, where years of wear have lifted the finish.
