French Navy 1990s Smock Jacket

A Marine Nationale foul weather smock in olive green, coated and fully waterproof, pulled on over the head rather than fastened down the front.

Built hood with a drawcord through the face opening and a storm flap at the throat, raglan sleeves gathered into elasticated cuffs, a single large patch pocket across the front, and a drawcord through the hem. There is no front opening below the short placket — the garment is a pullover throughout, which is what keeps water out of it.
