The British Royal Navy Rig 22 operational shirt was issued through the 2010s.
It features a button closure, adjustable button wrist cuffs and Velcro patch fields, cut in a flame resistant 95% Meta-Aramid 5% Para-Aramid blend with 2% anti static. Heavy duty, solid dark Navy blue, and this one came off a fleet photographer — the specialist patch is still on it alongside the Royal Navy sleeve patches.
Measured flat, it runs 48" along the chest and fits a regular large figure — the label suggests around 110cm — with sleeve lengths of 23" and a collar to hem of 27 inches.
