The British Army thermal buffalo pullover smock is a 1990s pattern issued through the 2010s.

It features two waist zipper pockets and a chest pocket, a hood secreted in the collar, Velcro adjustable cuffs and zipper armpit and side vents, cut in 100% polyamide over a 100% polyester fleece lining. Light for the warmth it gives, water repellent, solid olive — the layer that goes on when it stops being weather and starts being cold.

Measured flat, it runs 22" pit to pit and fits a regular medium figure — the label reads MEDIUM — with sleeve lengths of 24" and a collar to hem of 27 inches.
