British Army 1980s 85 Pattern Woodland DPM Camouflage Combat Smock
BA198085PWDCCS
The British Army 85 Pattern combat smock is the P85 series, issued 1990 to 1994 and the same kit that went to the Falklands.
It features ten pockets all told — four large button pockets outside, a sleeve pocket, an internal fishtail pouch, four internal rear pouches and an internal chest pouch — a zipper and button front closure, adjustable cuffs, shoulder epaulettes and interior torso and waist drawstrings, cut in a windproof heavy cotton that is soft in the hand and hard wearing on the back. The 85 pattern DPM is the vibrant one, and it is the colourway people go looking for.
Measured flat, it runs 22" pit to pit and fits a slim medium figure — the label recommends around 96cm — with sleeve lengths of 24" and a collar to hem of 31 inches.
