Dutch Navy 1980s Work Jacket

The Dutch Navy work jacket is an 1980s pattern, this example dated 2001.
It features two zipper chest pockets and a sleeve pocket, a stud button closure and stud button cuffs, shoulder epaulettes and Velcro patch fields, cut heavy duty in a 65% cotton 35% polyester blend in solid blue. A working jacket rather than a uniform one, which is why they wear so well.
Measured flat, it runs 48" along the chest and fits a slim large figure — the label suggests 105 to 110cm and a height of 160 to 180cm — with sleeve lengths of 24" and a collar to hem of 29 inches.
