Dutch Royal Army 1980s KL Olive Green Field Shirt

A polyester and cotton blend field shirt in solid olive green, dated 1987, cut long enough to be worn as a light jacket over a liner or on its own in warm weather. Stud buttons down the front, two buttoned chest pockets, buttoned cuffs and epaulettes at the shoulder.

The Dutch tricolour is sewn to the left sleeve and a strip of olive loop tape sits above the left chest pocket for a name tape. KL is Koninklijke Landmacht, the Royal Netherlands Army, whose stores it came out of — the seller's own listing calls it an Air Force shirt, but the provenance line and the garment both say Landmacht.
