The United States Army M65 field coat was manufactured by Alpha Industries, this example dated 1986 and printed in M81 Woodland.

It features four popper button pockets, a "hunter's" zipper by Serval, Velcro adjustable cuffs, a hood secreted in the collar and shoulder epaulettes, cut windproof in a 50% cotton 50% nylon blend, and it can take a thermal liner. The M65 is the most copied jacket ever issued by anyone — every field coat since has been arguing with it.

Measured flat, it runs 49" along the chest and fits a regular large figure — the label reads LARGE and LONG — with sleeve lengths of 26.5" and a collar to hem of 32.5 inches.
