United States Army 1990s M81 Woodland Camouflage M65 Cold Weather Field Coat with Liner
USA1990M81WCM65CWFCWL
The archive already holds a 1986 Alpha Industries M65 in this pattern. This is the later shell, dated 1999, with the thermal liner still in it — a 1991 one — which is what makes it a cold weather coat rather than a field jacket. Windproof in a 50/50 cotton and nylon blend.
Everything that makes the pattern recognisable is here: four popper-button flap pockets, a hood rolled away inside the stand collar, epaulettes, a Serval zip behind the storm flap, Velcro cuff tabs and a drawstring through the waist and hem. The liner buttons into the shell.
Chest 52in, sleeve 25.5in, collar to hem 33.5in; the label reads X-Large Regular.
