The United States Army MVP parka is an 1980s pattern, this example dated 1996, and the label reads "PARKA, COLD WEATHER, CAMOUFLAGE".
It features two large waist pockets, a zipper and stud button closure, Velcro adjustable cuffs, a drawstring waistband and hem, a hood and reinforced elbow pads, cut water resistant in 100% nylon and printed in M81 Woodland.
Measured flat, it runs 46" along the chest and fits a regular medium figure — the label states "MEDIUM - REGULAR" — with sleeve lengths of 25.5" and a collar to hem of 30 inches.
